slick & icy roads

I was driving back from an early morning Photo-safari today when I saw this accident. I'm not exactly sure what happened but the roads were sure slick today. The temperature was about 27 degrees when I left the house and the fog made the road icy and slick.

Everyone was able to walk away from this wreck but I'm sure they're shaken up. The car stopped about 10 feet above the chilly waters of the Columbia River (on the bike path)
