Beware of ProFlowers.com
I don't know how many of you have heard of or have used ProFlowers.com. They're an internet based flower delivery service, who until today, I used to send flowers to friends and family.
ProFlowers is based in San Diego, although their flowers ship from satellite locations (independent growers, I suspect). My former employer in San Diego was a vendor of theirs, we printed a bunch of their promo literature and they sent us some beautiful tropical flowers. The flowers arrived in perfect condition, which impressed me. I began using ProFlowers to send flowers to my friends and family, mostly without a hitch. The quality was always great, however they did deliver late on one order.
Today, ProFlowers lost my business and my trust forever and I hope that this posting warns others of ProFlowers predatory, deceptive, sneaky and thieving practices. While reviewing my online bank statement today, I noticed a charge for $14.95 which posted yesterday. I did not recognize the company....EASY SAVE, So I Google them. The search results, an article on ripoffreport.com immediately raised a red flag.
I am embarrassed to say that Easy Saver had be siphoning $14.95 per month from my checking account since May, for a total of $104.65 without my knowledge. I contacted Easy Saver and asked what the charge was for and was told that I signed up for their services while ordering through ProFlowers. Since I HAD NOT authorized this charge, I asked for a complete refund immediately. The woman could only credit my account for the 2 most recent charges...in order to get credit for other 5 charges I would need to send a letter to their Consumer Affairs Department in PA.
Not satisfied with Easy Saver's response, I contacted ProFlowers. The woman who answered my call at ProFlowers had been contacted by other EASY SAVER SCAM victims and eventually transferred me to a ProFlowers supervisor. The supervisor put me on hold and contacted Easy Saver directly to get ALL of my money returned. The credits will take on or two credit card billing cycles to post.
Okay people, you've been warned. Check your bank statements and stay clear of the crooks at ProFlowers.

Dear ProFlowers customer,
I am the director of Marketing for ProFlowers and I am eager to hear your comments to learn how I can improve your experience. This program was set up to help provide an optional program for alternative benefits and by no means do we want to trick customers. Can you please send me your phone number so I can ensure you get the best assistance possible. I can make sure you have received a full refund and are happy with your purchase. I can be reached at hblum@proflowers.com. Thank you for your time and I hope I can have the opportunity to better assist you. I take it personally that we have not done sooner to make this a better experience for you and for that I truly apologize. I hope you will contact me.
Sincerely,
Hannah Blum
Director, Marketing
ProFlowers
Hannah,
Thanks for your interest in my recent experience with ProFlowers / Easy Saver. I spoke with Jennifer (one of your customer service supervisors) regarding a full refund and was assured that I would receive one. As of today, I have seen only one of the seven payments credited to my account. If you're able to expedite this process, I would certainly appreciate you help.
Prior to this incident, I was a loyal ProFlowers customer. The tricky way in which I and other ProFlowers customers were enrolled in the Easy Saver program is completely disgusting and has eroded my loyalty. Can you tell me why I should trust you with my credit card information again? I did not provide my credit card number to Easy Saver...but your company did. How does this seem like a good idea?
If you'd like to discuss this matter further with me, please feel free to contact me at XXX-XXX-XXXX after 5:30pm PST.
Hannah,
Sure you did something about it. Right...ProFlowers and easysavers continue to rip people off everyday.
You're as fake as your flowers.
