Ahhhh, the great outdoors!

After spending two days camping in the mountains I have determined this...

What I love about camping:

- Fresh air, peace and quiet.
- Lotsa Pine trees, green meadows and babbling brooks.
- Birds, Birds, Birds
- Squirells, Coyotes, Frogs, Bobcats and Snakes
- Freedom from modern technological annoyances.

What sucks about camping:

Wimpy campers who retreat to their cars and idle their engines all night to keep warm.

Weenies who think it is fun and macho to throw big knives and axes into living trees.

Lame campground management companies who fail to manage national parks as promised.


Overall, it was good camping trip. I came back a day early but got in two days of great hiking...I've got the blisters and sunburn to prove it.
