You're kidding, right?

The other day, I was on the phone with my Mom. Just chatting about the usual stuff, then she tells me that Dad bought a new car today. So, my Dad gets on the phone and I say "gotta new car, huh?". "Yes" , he says "a Ford Escape". My Dad never buys anything but white vehicles, so I say "lemme guess, it's white ins't it?". To my surprise he said "No, it's blue." I was shocked "BLUE? You bought a blue car? I don't believe it...I have to see this. Blue, like my truck?". He said "No, a metallic blue, not too dark."

Well, I saw it this evening and indeed it is blue. A fine vehicle. Dad and I are basically "Ford guys", we've both owned nothing but Ford cars (but that new VW GTI is pretty damn tempting tho'). So, if you see a tall bloke with thick glasses tailgating you on the I-5 in a blue Escape it's probably my Pops.
