Public Transit in San Diego....ha!

Thank you San Diego Metropoliton Transit for screwing up the trolley system. The 20 minute trolley ride to work now takes 40 minutes.

Yeah, the new Green Line has impacted the commute for a lot of folks. This morning myself and 100 or so other passengers were stuck in the stationary trolley (100 yards from the Old Town Station) for 5 minutes as our connecting trolley (the blue line) pulled out of the station. The 15 minute wait for the next Blue Line gave us plenty of time to vent our frustrations about the "improved trolley system".

I'm guessing that unless schedule changes/improvements are made quickly, plenty of riders will be driving or riding the bus to work. If or when the Trolley is extended to UTC, I hope the folks at MTS figure out a better way to configure the timetables.
