Summer is...

frisbee on the beach. water-gun fights during a heat wave. laying on cool green grass. BBQing with friends. diving into the cool water. the smell of honeysuckle at dusk. pink skin and sunburn lotion. sleeping with the windows open. walking barefoot everywhere. that wet concrete smell when you wash the car. watermelon and potato salad. napping in the shade, just cuz you can. burying your feet in the sand. ice cream dripping on your hand. flip-flopping flip-flops. butterflies, bees and flies...lotsa flies. sky-writing planes. smelly animals at the fair. driving with all the windows down. sand in your swimsuit. suntea brewing on the back patio. swooshing skateboard wheels. bohemia, jicama con limon y chili.

Time and distance, basically the same.
Electrically speaking, in this current age.

Closely together, far apart.
Far from distant, near but so far.

Digital facades, to fool our brains.
Binary proximities, to drive us insane.
